Terradium ("we," "us," or "our"), operating as StaticKit, offers a managed static site blogging platform with a Free plan and a Premium plan ($9/month). This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be issued for our Premium subscription.

2. Free Plan

Our Free plan does not require any payment and is not subject to this Refund Policy. You can use the Free plan (1 site, up to 100 posts) at no cost and with no financial commitment.

3. Premium Subscription Refunds

StaticKit is a digital service, and subscriptions are generally non-refundable once the billing period has begun. However, we offer the following exceptions:

3.1 14-Day Refund Period

If you subscribe to the Premium plan and are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial subscription purchase. This refund period applies only to the first payment of a new subscription and does not apply to subsequent renewal payments.

3.2 Service Outages

If StaticKit experiences a significant, extended service outage (more than 24 consecutive hours) that prevents you from using core functionality, you may be eligible for a prorated credit or refund for the affected period. To request a credit, contact us within 7 days of the outage.

3.3 Technical Failures

If a verified technical issue on our end causes data loss or prevents your published sites from being accessible for an extended period, we will work with you to resolve the issue and may offer a prorated refund or credit at our discretion.

3.4 Duplicate or Erroneous Charges

If you are charged more than once for the same billing period or charged after successfully cancelling your subscription, we will promptly issue a full refund for the duplicate or erroneous charge.

4. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will generally not be issued in the following cases:

  • You simply changed your mind about using the Service after the 14-day refund period
  • You forgot to cancel your subscription before a renewal date
  • Your account was terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service
  • You are dissatisfied with changes or updates to the Service that do not materially reduce its core functionality

5. EU Consumer Rights

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from a digital service purchase within 14 days of the transaction. Our 14-day refund period described in Section 3.1 fully satisfies this EU consumer withdrawal right. By subscribing to StaticKit Premium, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial subscription purchase, regardless of whether the service has been used.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your Premium subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Upon cancellation:

  • You will retain access to Premium features until the end of your current billing period
  • Your subscription will not renew, and no further charges will be made
  • Your account will revert to the Free plan at the end of the billing period
  • If you have more sites or posts than the Free plan allows, you will retain read access but will not be able to create new content until you are within the Free plan limits

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Email us at info@statickit.io with the subject line "Refund Request"
  2. Include your account email address and the reason for the refund request
  3. Provide any relevant details (e.g., date of charge, transaction ID from Paddle)

We will review your request and respond within 5 business days.

8. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed through Paddle, our payment provider. Please allow:

  • 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your original payment method
  • Refunds are issued in the original currency of the transaction
  • Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated to subscribers via email.
